BAD LINKS
From the beginning of the CAP Ministry in 1994 to 1999 we did not have our own domain name and operated under the server owned by the Star-Telegram newspaper in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1999 Star-Telegram terminated their ISP services and their domain name has been taken over by a pornography site. We attempted a global search-and-replace of our more than 25 megabytes of pages to update the links with our new domain (capalert.com) but unfortunately it was not 100% successful. Some of our older pages still contain the old Star-Telegram newspaper domain name (which I will not share with you lest I cause temptation to even one of us). A visitor to some of the old pages who clicks on the old links will be taken to the porn site. Please forgive our failure to capture all bogus links. We are in NO way connected with ANY porn site or any other porn interests. We are fervently proceeding to remove all the bogus links.
Place your curser/pointer over a link or image before you click it and see if your browser's status bar shows a domain that begins with "http://www.star..." (See the figure below) If it does, DO NOT click the link, exit the page and notify me of the page. I will personally see to it that the corrections are made quickly.
It is truly strange and bewildering how the adversary can impede ministry operations. Strange and bewildering indeed. That this ministry which is fighting pornography can innocently cause others to be exposed to porn is dumbfounding. We must really be doing something right.
